Jerry J. Arkebauer is a Managing Director of the Development Finance Division. He was appointed to his position on January 1, 2007. Mr. Arkebauer works with for-profit and not-for-profit companies, analyzing their financing alternatives for new projects and then decide what financing options work best to provide low cost, reasonable debt amortization and optional ownership structures.
Those alternatives include port authority bonds, TIF financing, special assessment revenue financing and off-balance sheet financing.
Mr. Arkebauer served as Vice President of Finance for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority from 1997 to 2006 where he was responsible for finance and accounting, and for administering the Port Authority's Northwest Ohio Bond Fund Program and other bond issues, the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 Loan Program and the Ohio Department of Development 166 Regional Loan Programs. The four financing programs were major ingredients in more than $1.7 billion in capital projects. These programs have helped create and retain nearly 15,000 jobs.
